Position: Pathways of Risk and Resilience in Firefighter Recruits Position
Descriptor: Project Coordinator (part-time or full-time)
Length of position: 1-2 years
Anticipated start date: January 2008 or later

Position Description:

The project coordinator will be involved with multiple studies examining associations among trauma, PTSD, anger, cognition, and intimate relationship abuse perpetration and victimization. Responsibilities for the project coordinator include conducting structured diagnostic interviews for PTSD, coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the study including participant screening and recruitment, participant retention, supervision of a research technician, preparation of IRB review materials and project status reports, and assistance with manuscript preparation. Clinical hours and supervision for licensure may be negotiated. Annual salary is approximately $45,000.

Requirements:

Doctoral degree in clinical psychology; strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
