Length of position: Two years, with possibility of extension
Anticipated start date: September 1st, 2008

Position Description:

The project coordinator will be involved in projects examining posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), intimate relationship abuse, and an intervention designed to prevent abuse perpetration. Responsibilities include conducting structured diagnostic interviews for PTSD, serving as a co-therapist for a relationship abuse prevention intervention, and coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the relationship abuse prevention trial, including participant screening and recruitment, participant retention, supervision of research assistants, preparation of IRB review materials and project status reports, and assistance with manuscript preparation. Clinical hours and supervision for licensure are available. Annual salary is expected to be in the range $52,000 - $56,000.

Requirements:

Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Interest in the study of family violence is preferred.
